During winter snowfall events, a parking ban will be issued by the Highway Commissioner.
Your co-operation with keeping the roadways clear is appreciated and essential for our snow plow drivers to clear roads as quickly as possible during winter snow events.
All types of motor vehicle and/or trailers must be removed from the roads. It will be unlawful to park for 48 hours and may be extended beyond that time, depending on conditions. This extension will be publicly announced also. Tazewell County sheriff’s department will be actively enforcing the ban.
